So, I was just walking back from lunch and overheard two nasty French boys saying some pretty disgusting things about a hot girl woman on the street. I understood them, and I was scandalized. Yeah, I know it looks suspicious that I know French now. I don't care. Most of you know why anyway. Also? I'm so proud of myself. They were talking really fast and I CAUGHT IT ALL.

I love when foreign people just assume that no one around them understands what they're saying.

Ahahah. Did they realize you understood them?

No. I don't think so. They were pretty focused on each other... and the woman.

Aren't you so clever.

To be a total smartass here: sentir does not only mean feel, but also smell.

SHIT. Well. It's telling that I can only get the really sexual stuff.

That's stupid. Explain the history of this word to me.

Sadly, I don't know. Though I can tell you that in spanish, sentir also means to listen and to regret ... no, I have no idea what's it with that word.

More or less four, I think. Growing up on a cruise ship has its advantages.

English, French, Italian and German. I only know very little Spanish, for some reason, I only remembered the 'odd' verbs like that.

I dunno. Its what the translator came up with. Though the really hot guy commenting to you says it can also mean 'smell'.

Cool! :]

What with English being mandatory in school in quite some non-English speaking countries, it's a fun we'll have to miss out on while on vacation, I guess.

It's not only French-y, it's downright French! And, maybe not this particular time, but I admit to having done that. Half the fun of a vacation is stepping out of the plane back home and going "Okay, better shut up now, people understand us here".

Oh my God. There's two young hot French boys in the office right now? Please have a shameless accent.

That's mean, Benoit. Did you say things like "You smell like an old pair of gymnasium socks"?

[info]bjm

I don't think I ever came up with that particular one. Actually, back in High school, we liked pointing at people and going 'gay!' at them, it just really doesn't work that well in America. But I think it's generally a French thing, even our cafés are set out so the customers look out at the street, all to better watch the people passing by.

Artsy things, eh? I've come to the conclusion that they do it simply for their reputation, and really are only playing mine sweeper. Or solitaire.

If the gist was extra nasty, than we're probably talking about the same people.

After all, how often do two pervert French boys meet up outside of the office?
